He holds a Law degree with honours and a laureate-awarded professional thesis from the Escuela Libre de Derecho, for which he has also acted as an associate professor and a master’s in Cybersecurity from the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISDE) in Madrid.
He is certified in Privacy and Data Protection by Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
He has served as the Legal Vice President of the Confederation of Industrial Chambers of the United Mexican States, known as CONCAMIN; a business representation and mandatory consultation body for the Mexican government.
He is an active member of the ANADE (National Association of Business Attorneys) and the Mexican Bar Association.
He has over 20 years’ experience in dispute resolution, including pre-litigation, litigation, mediation, and arbitration, in cases related to Aeronautical and Aviation Law, infrastructure and construction, surety bonds, insurance and reinsurance, cyber risks, white collar crimes and criminal defence, political risks, civil liability, and defective products.
His practice is recognised for crisis management in complex, multidisciplinary, and cross-border cases.
He represents both national and global clients, including local and international passenger and cargo airlines, manufacturers of aircraft and airport equipment, financial entities, energy companies, mining corporations, pharmaceutical and consumer goods producers.
Additionally, he has extensive experience in handling cases in collaboration with foreign law firms and entities that lack representation in Mexico and Latin America.
He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
